Course Description

Level 3 Award in Severing Uprooted or Windblown Trees Using a Chainsaw 002102 (formerly CS34,CS35)
This course is for anyone who needs to deal with wind-blown trees.

NOTE: Candidates must hold 00201/00202 (CS30), 00204 (CS31) and 00211 (CS32) prior to registering for this course

PPE (Helmet, gloves, trousers, boots) are available on loan for the duration of the course.

N.B. Learners must note that this is a physical course and a good standard of fitness is required

Course Content

• Be able to promote health and safety and industry good practice
• Be able to sever uprooted and windblown trees using a chainsaw
• Understand relevant health and safety legislation and industry good practice
• Understand how to sever uprooted or windblown trees using a chainsaw

Duration: 2 days (1 days training, 1 day assessment)
