DESCRIPTION:ICDL – International Computer Driving Licence\nICDL (International Computer Driving Licence)\, formerly known as ECDL\, is one of the most widely recognised and highly valued digital skills certifications among employers. \nBlended Learning\nOur blended learning programme provides learners with the flexibility to take control of their own learning through a comprehensive online learning unit. With 24/7 access\, learners can study at their own pace\, and at a time and location that suits them. \nTo complement the online learning\, learners receive two hours of tutor support over a four-week period per module\, beginning from the date of enrolment. This support can be provided either through face-to-face tuition or online video calls\, giving learners the opportunity to ask questions\, clarify difficult topics and receive additional guidance when required. \nThere is no set start date for the blended learning programme\, allowing learners to enrol and begin their studies at a time that is convenient for them. \nCourse Fees\nThe prices listed for Blended ICDL are per module. DESCRIPTION:Fire Safety Awareness Course\nThe Fire Safety Awareness Course\, delivered by a QQI-certified instructor\, is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical awareness required to help prevent fires and respond safely and effectively in the event of a fire in the workplace. \nThe course covers the common causes of workplace fires\, fire prevention\, fire hazards\, emergency procedures\, evacuation protocols and the correct actions to take if a fire occurs. \nParticipants will learn about different types of fire and fire extinguishers\, including how to identify the appropriate extinguisher for a particular fire. The course also highlights the importance of fire detection and alarm systems\, emergency exits\, assembly points and maintaining clear escape routes. \nThe training helps participants understand their responsibilities in relation to workplace fire safety and provides them with the confidence to respond appropriately during a fire emergency. \nCourse Topics\n\nCommon causes and prevention of workplace fires\nIdentifying and controlling fire hazards\nThe fire triangle and different classes of fire\nTypes of fire extinguishers and their appropriate uses\nFire alarm and detection systems\nEmergency evacuation procedures\nEmergency exits and escape routes\nAssembly points and headcounts\nRoles and responsibilities during a fire emergency\nAppropriate actions to take if a fire occurs\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, participants will receive a Fire Safety Awareness Certificate valid for three years. \nCourse Requirements\nParticipants must: \n\nhave a good standard of spoken and written English\nbe 16 years of age or older\nbring valid photo identification\nwear appropriate clothing and suitable footwear for practical training\n\nFire Warden Add-on\nParticipants have the option to add Fire Warden training to this course at an additional cost of €20.00 if required. \nFor more information on our Fire Safety Awareness course\, CLICK HERE
