SAFE PASS TRAINING


Course Description

This Safe Pass Training Course, which is delivered by an approved Solas Instructor, is a mandatory safety awareness course, the aim of which is:

  • to raise the standard of safety awareness in the construction industry
  • to ensure that all site personnel undergo basic health and safety awareness training with a view to making a positive contribution to the prevention of accidents and avoidance of health hazards
  • to maintain a register of personnel who have received such training

NOTE: Construction workers are bound by law to hold a valid Safe Pass Registration Card.

  • Implementing Risk Assessment
  • General Site Safety
  • Personal Safety

Who Should Attend

  • Any person working on or intending to work on a construction site of any kind, including Apprentices and Trainees
  • Contractors, Drivers or Security personnel entering and working on a construction site

Assessment

  • In class written assessment by Tutor

Entry Requirements

Participants must:

  • have a good understanding of both written and verbal English
  • be over 16 years of age
  • bring with them photo ID, 1 passport photo and their PPS number

Accreditation:    Fully Accredited by SOLAS

Validity:               Safe Pass cards are valid for 4 years
