SAFE PASS TRAINING
Course Description
This Safe Pass Training Course, which is delivered by an approved Solas Instructor, is a mandatory safety awareness course, the aim of which is:
- to raise the standard of safety awareness in the construction industry
- to ensure that all site personnel undergo basic health and safety awareness training with a view to making a positive contribution to the prevention of accidents and avoidance of health hazards
- to maintain a register of personnel who have received such training
NOTE: Construction workers are bound by law to hold a valid Safe Pass Registration Card.

Who Should Attend
- Any person working on or intending to work on a construction site of any kind, including Apprentices and Trainees
- Contractors, Drivers or Security personnel entering and working on a construction site
Assessment
- In class written assessment by Tutor
Entry Requirements
Participants must:
- have a good understanding of both written and verbal English
- be over 16 years of age
- bring with them photo ID, 1 passport photo and their PPS number

Duration: 1 day
Accreditation: Fully Accredited by SOLAS
Validity: Safe Pass cards are valid for 4 years
