Course fees must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your place.  Deposits for courses will not be taken, and places cannot be held without full payment.

Refund of Fees

Carnew Training & Consultancy accepts no obligation to refund any fees paid. However as per our current policy, a full refund may be issued if cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the course start date.  A percentage refund will apply if cancelled between 7 and 3 days prior to the course start date.
For the avoidance of doubt, there will be no refunds issued in the following situations:

  • Cancellation within 3 days of the course start date
  • No show on the day of the course
  • Withdrawal after the course begins
  • Inability to understand spoken or written English as per course requirements

Protection of Learners

In the event of the programme (of three months’ duration or more) being terminated prior to completion, we strive to provide learners with a similar programme in another WIN centre or wherever possible, an alternative provider. When the completion of a programme is not possible we will refund any fees that have been paid.

Assessment and Appeals/ Complaints

If you are unhappy with the results of an assessment or are unhappy with any aspect of the course, you are entitled to appeal/complain. In the first instance please discuss this with your tutor.  If you are still unhappy at this stage please contact the Centre Manager or Training Manager in writing, by acknowledged email.  We have a full policy on Complaints & Appeals so please refer to this for more details.

Some of our courses are delivered by third party providers. Where this occurs, the Third Party Provider Assessment and Appeals policy applies.
